A provider of domiciliary care comprising of Personal care (Helping to get into and out of bed each morning and evening, Assistance with bathing and getting dressed), Shopping, Administration of medication (medication can only be given to patients, as part of an agreed care plan), Meal preparation, Day companion, Live-in care, Night care, Laundry and light household chores, Prompt eating/feeding, Toileting, Catheter/Stoma care, Light housework, Sleepovers, Escort on outings/social events.

The Amazing Team

Epitome Home Care Ltd is run by Mrs. Maureen Mwongirwe and Mrs. Charity Gibb. Both have experience and have worked in both Health and Social Care settings.
Mrs. Maureen Mwongirwe is the director of Epitome Home Care Ltd and she is a university graduate with a Bachelor degree in Adult Nursing. She has also attained a diploma in CMI Level 5 Management and Leadership.
Mrs. Charity Gibb who is a partner in the business is a university graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Adult Nursing. She has also attained HNC in childcare and education.
The business at present has full time and part time employees one of them being the business manager herself who is always on standby to meet emerging needs. 
As requests come in for service, employees will be hired to meet the volume and diversified needs.

We aims to offer skilled care to enable people supported by us to achieve their optimum state of health and well-being.

To treat all people supported by us and all people who work here with respect at all times.

Uphold the human and citizenship rights of all who work and visit here and of all Service Users.

Support individual choice and personal decision-making as the right of all Service Users.

Respect and encourage the right of independence of all Service Users.

To ensure that all our home care staff deliver services to the standards laid out by the organisation and its regulatory bodies such as the Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (SCSWIS), SSSC, Care Inspectorate.

To ensure that the service is provided in a manner which promotes quality and safety and respects the independence of service users and affords them choice in the way in which the service is provided to them SCSWIS (Requirement for Care Services) Regulations 2022.

Recognise the individual uniqueness of Service Users, staff, and visitors, and treat them with dignity and respect at all times.

Respect individual requirement for privacy at all times and treat all information relating to individuals in a confidential manner.

Recognise the individual need for personal fulfilment and offer individualised programmes of meaningful activity to satisfy that need of Service Users and staff.

Provide staff that are trained and knowledgeable about care of the elderly people and ensure that care is evidence based.
